Burcu Isler is an Infectious Diseases Physician and clinical researcher at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. She holds a PhD in Medicine from the University of Queensland.

Throughout her career she has worked across various global institutions, developing a strong interest in the management of orthopaedic infections, particularly those complicated by antimicrobial resistance.

She leads projects focused on enhancing treatment strategies for antimicrobial resistant infections and has published extensively in this area. She is committed to advancing in the understanding and treatment of infectious diseases through collaborative research.
